Dear Cornell Football Family,

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Patrick Grady. As a cherished member of the class of ’95, Patrick was more than a teammate—he was a leader, a loyal friend, and a proud representative of what it means to be a Cornellian both on and off the field. During his time in Ithaca, Patrick exemplified the values of hard work, dedication, and integrity that define our program, with a legacy extending far beyond the gridiron.

IMPACT

Gator Club Car Transporter

Through the support of FCF and various generous donors, we’ve been able to secure a Gator Club Car Transporter for the Cornell Training Staff that will not only go towards supporting our Football Team this year but will also be used to by numerous other Cornell Teams and have a ripple effect across our Cornell Athletics community. Thank you to all that anonymously donated and helped to make this possible. We’re excited to see this thing zipping around the field come game day!

Four Goals of FCF

The players need our support. Their parents deserve to be warmly welcomed into the Cornell Football family and know that their son, and his experience, is a focus of our support. And you, the former players, deserve the camaraderie and enjoyment of renewing friendships and developing more. Ours are year-long, life-long relationships that we value greatly.

The Friends of Cornell Football (FCF) will operate within University policy to achieve four main goals:

1. PROGRAM SUCCESS:

Support, encourage, and promote all aspects of the varsity football program at Cornell University to establish a winning culture on and off the field

2. ENHANCE PLAYER EXPERIENCE:

Enrich the athletic, intellectual, and social experience of Cornell Football student-athletes

3. ENGAGE ALUMNI

Strengthen the bonds between the University and its alumni and friends

4. IGNITE SPIRIT:

Elevate Cornell Football’s image and instill Cornell Football pride within the greater University community of students, faculty, staff, parents, and alumni, as well as with local members of the Ithaca community
