About fcf

About

In conjunction with the University, the FCF will be governed by a Board of Directors. All our efforts will be focused on assisting the Cornell Football program, its players and families and providing a vehicle for alumni to be connected to its success by engaging the broader Cornell Football community. Importantly, we will do this in full compliance and partnership with Cornell University. In addition to the Board of Directors, we intend to have as Ex-officio representatives, the Athletic Director, Head Football Coach, Executive Director for Alumni Affairs and Development, and Associate Director of Athletics, Sports Communications.

The boys are proud to wear the Big Red uniform and to represent the University, day-in and day-out. It is our goal to make them feel special and that they are part of something much bigger than themselves.

With this in mind, we are launching the FCF with four main goals:

1. PROGRAM SUCCESS:

Support, encourage, and promote all aspects of the varsity football program at Cornell University to establish a winning culture on and off the field

2. ENHANCE PLAYER EXPERIENCE:

Enrich the athletic, intellectual, and social experience of Cornell Football student-athletes

3. ENGAGE ALUMNI

Strengthen the bonds between the University and its alumni and friends

4. IGNITE SPIRIT:

Elevate Cornell Football’s image and instill Cornell Football pride within the greater University community of students, faculty, staff, parents, and alumni, as well as with local members of the Ithaca community
